Your Sun (written in joint effort with johnt300)

The muted waves lap alongside the wooden hulls
In their rhythm, my heart beats in tune with yours
I hear a gulls song off in the distance, hugging the land
The haunting cries echo my lonely cries to you
Another misty night gathers around my skin
And I breathe it in, wanting it to fill this longing inside
With each breath, I draw you, draw the sun, a little closer
I long to be cloaked by your body, warmed by your light
As the moon surrenders, losing her fight
And I am risen in your sun

Tyson...thanks for being my light and my inspiration

Ooh, beautiful work, hoot. This is definitely how it should be. I loved it.

Very beautiful Hoot, especially like
"Another misty night gathers around my skin
And I breathe it in, wanting it to fill this longing inside
With each breath, I draw you, draw the sun, a little closer
I long to be cloaked by your body, warmed by your light"
WOnderful imagery!

Ruth,
I finally have a chance to reply to our poem here. This is my favorite of ours to date. And it came so quickly and easily. Thanks for always complimenting my lines perfectly, every time. Take care until this morning when we talk.

Pepper, WhtDove, Rainbowgirl, Christopher, Alwye, Severn, Beki, Dark Angel,
Thank you all for you replies. Very much appreciated by us both. Thanks again.
