delicate passion expression of self frozen in time in the book on the shelf lifting it down with reverence and trust with gentle breath blow off the dust there find the truths and half truths of ages in the poet's words on the poet's pages ------------------ "just another lost child, trying to find my way" |

Excellent....I loved this, very well written and one all of us as poets can relate to. ------------------ Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints in our heart and we are never ever the same. Thank you all for leaving footprints!! |

I liked this a lot. My only dismay was its brevity. I'd like to have read more Scribe. |

Excellent...very well said! ------------------ "We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion.....the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?" --John Keating, Dead Poets Society |

As a collector of old books I love this one. Many a day I rearrange my books...dust them.. touch them..open them lovingly...I have an old, old book of poems with wonderful old drawings in it. |
