The blasted realization of a future undone
Imprinted upon my eyes and mind
A wasteland, where no bird nor tree
Could survive
Harsh stone thrusts upwards
Grey and ochre
Scum sealed stream
My wishes and dreams
My sacred resting place
Now a bane, a curse
The scourge which stripes my hide
The pain and confusion
Rear before me
Thrashing and flogging
Forty plus one
Forty plus one
Forty plus one

Boy...don't I know this is the truth!
Last verse...GREAT.
It's that nagging voice in your head.

Just missing your work around here, Kitten. Looking for lost treasures.

I will not bend to the cowardice of a silent judgement.
