The blasted realization of a future undone Imprinted upon my eyes and mind A wasteland, where no bird nor tree Could survive Harsh stone thrusts upwards Grey and ochre Scum sealed stream My wishes and dreams My sacred resting place Now a bane, a curse The scourge which stripes my hide The pain and confusion Rear before me Thrashing and flogging Forty plus one Forty plus one Forty plus one Alicat |
