There comes the hour you answer above As you glide with the wind, on the wings of the dove But before time is given, before you take to the sky There are tears you shed in silence, echoed crying in your gloom Not one word is spoken in the silence of your room The torment that you entered, free willing, gave up all In an instant it was taken, as is written on the wall Like the Knights in White Satin that never reached their end The love that you once held with in, is no longer you friend Traded for snow and wider lines that give you the push And the push that it gave to you was hiding the truth Yet the need is much greater then ever before So you reach for the push and take to the sky In search of the white dove to give you a ride But the clouds are bellowed and to thick to see Again you touch down, and only dream it could it be Never an answer, no direction, no home All is lost in a snow storm, as again your alone The snow has fallen and its cold and its deep You can not turn the lights out, there is no way to sleep You look out the window as you run to and fro Wondering who's out there and if they could know Far away in this torment, down pretty deep The push can not get you to the heavens you seek No doves are waiting to give you a ride Its the push that your hating, its taken your pride As the blood runs to the pillow and the heart races fast You find yourself praying to just make it past Again your prayers are answered a new day has come And the push is just waiting to push you along Your caught in the shuffle your deal has been dealt Your eyes are blinded you can't see yourself For the image that's there now does not resemble you Its Frankensteins monster the lines have caught And you can't teach a monster if he don't want to be taught No self esteem, no faith, no hope Words of encouragement get stuck in your throat No time to pity, no time to endure, no time left, your lives over for sure face in the muck created by man, greeted so willingly by your own hands Just as the clouds break and as you seek a glimpse And what you've been seeking is there as you stand Take one step forward and reach for the sky, believe me my brother on the white dove you'll fly You've only to reach, and give it a try ©tori ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If with pen in hand I've made you think I've not wasted one drop of ink vlh. |

Tori this was great! I am a bit confused here though and not sure I am getting this. You speak of cocaine here? This is what I am getting out of it. It is a terribly addictive thing. The rich man's asprin. I have been there many years ago. I hope that whomever is in this mess will find their way out Hon! [This message has been edited by WhtDove (edited 09-25-1999).] |
