Where blue skies meet blue ocean

The sunshine breaks and spills its light
Across the quiet darkened day
A tiny star gives one last spark
Before letting morning have its way

The quietness of sleeping sounds
Is broken as nature begins to stir
And sleepiness calls you back to bed
For a few more moments next to her

You snuggle in and tuck her close
Beneath the comfort of your arm
That has a way of letting her know
She's protected from any harm

The night creatures don't stand a chance
No more bad thoughts will she dream
She knows she's safe where she lays
Her and her Daddy are a team

How sweet, and beautifully written. Treasure those times they pass so quickly.
