Promotions should be given,
To the one who does deserve.
Not to one who cries for it,
Just to get it, oh, what nerve.

My husband got promoted,
But his boss, she don't agree.
She thought that it belonged to her,
And went crying with her plea.

Though she held the title,
My hubby did the work.
She is a big control freak,
And too add, quite a jerk!

She hasn't handled duties,
That she should thus far.
She just wants to control.
In my heart she burns a scar.

She really was quite sneaky
In the way she went about,
Going to the owners house
To cry to him no doubt.

It really is upsetting
To say the very least,
I'd like to break her neck
For my anger she increased.

I want to tell her what I think
It really isn't nice.
I want to see her burn
And I hope she pays the price.

I know this is not final,
For it will be discussed.
I hope that they will see her,
For what she is...disgust!!!

Disgust is right WhtDove. This behavior is common unfortunately. I can feel your anger seething off the words. Well done!

Good one! There is a woman at my office that had terrorized her staff for 10 years.. they quit left and right because she was a witch! Last month she got a promotion (and a lot more money) to a job where she doesn't have to deal with people! So the moral is, if you want to get ahead - be a bitch! I'm going out right now to buy a book "How To Be A Bitch in 10 Easy Lessons"...bet it was written by your hubby's boss!
