Dreams of Desire

I still remember the first time we met
Your smile seemed so unreal
The ever so soft touch in your voice
Caused the love in my heart to feel

I know down inside, you dont think of me first
Such feelings develop through time
Like sharing some of our most intimate secrets
Or other dreams that my cross our minds

There are so many emotions I've kept to myself
Im to afraid to open my heart
Though, the importance of my feelings for you
For us, could mean a promising start

If we had time to spend alone
This is what your most likely to hear
But first a gentle kiss on the cheek
Before I whispered this into your ear

I want to be your special someone
When in need, your knowing that Im here
To comfort you in times of sorrow
And create laughter for every tear

Together, we'll create lasting memories
Memories only you and I can call our own
And maybe, just maybe, we'll fall in love
Never again will you feel lost or alone

I dream of a love that we could share
Our hearts would diminish into one
We would live life through moments we create
Until God felt our time here was done

So if there are dreams, and I am a dreamer
May this one dream please come true
Love is lost if not shared with someone special
So Im offering my love to you

Excellent start Tamboril! I see the potential for some "feeling" poems hiding in there...
I also loved...
