Make My Day© 1999 Each day i sign on And hope that I find One of my poems on top Because folks are kind. I read through all the names Scanning for mine I read them twice in case I'll find one this time. Some nights I cannot sleep Wondering where I failed. Was it my title, or perhaps The topic that did not prevail? Could it have been the time of day Or maybe the day of the week? I think I know what it was... No one likes tongue-in-cheek? I will just keep trying And hoping that someday I sign on and see the page Filled with poems and my name! [hehe] |

Genea, here are the four "P's" for Passions: Persistence, practice and patience pays off. Also, be aware that there are so many posts, that sometimes we get pushed down to the bottom before we even know it. I'm frequently on page two with a big "zero" before someone reads me. Sometimes, even page 3! By the way, the poem is a good jab! Keep posting, and responding! Sunshine |
