When your young you never really see reality until suddenly your faced with your own mortality. Then you look at all the things you’ve never done. like play baseball with your 8 yr. old son. Your daughter’s growing fast to your surprise, you see yourself when you look into her eyes. Time suddenly seems to pass so very fast you start to try and make each minute last. I do not know what future lies ahead. Trying to understand what all the doctors said. A demon seems to have latched onto my soul its funny how fast a cancer can grow. Its strange for I thought I always knew, that if faced with this, exactly what I’d do. But now it seems that I am so unsure how to fight this thing, why can’t they find a cure. For now I’ll place my faith into his hands for I know if no one else can understand. That God in heaven will always find a way and with his help, I know I’ll be OK. |

Is this about you? If so or if not...God will be there, He always is. And you are right, if no one else understands, God will...I have lived by that for a long time. For God knows what we are feeling, thinking, doing, everything, before we even do. However, I am sure there are many people who understand exactly what you are talking about in this poem! Lucie, little darling, I'm here for you as always. My shoulder is dry and my ear is sympathetic. You will be fine and you will get through this with the help of all your friends and family. You are a very brave woman to keep your humour through the trials that you are being faced with.
