Likewise I posted this in fantasy forum, zero reads so I brought it here: Purple Passion first breath of lilac permeates the early dawn promises passion as we rise in purple air dragons sing our soft desire ------------------ "We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion.....the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?" --John Keating, Dead Poets Society |

Very nicely done...I can see that you, unlike me, are well studied in the art of verse ------------------ "In the depths of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer" ~Albert Camus |

Thank you, Hoot and Pepper...since I have been writing and studying poetry for over thirty years it is somewhat gratifying to know it shows :-) Truthfuklly though, the one thing that really improves your writing is just that...READ good poetry and KEEP WRITING!!!!! You have some good work Hoot...Pepper, I don't recall ever seeing anything by you...do you write? |

Beki...how I wish I had the talent to write...but alas I only have the talent to enjoy the wonders of the written word. My dear friend, Balladeer introduced me to this forum and for that I will always be grateful. I have found such pleasure in the incredible talent that is here....... ------------------ May your days be filled with lots of sunshine and your nights lit up by golden moonbeams |
