He writes such perfect words, that thrill my ears Or cut straight to my very soul with tears With ease his heart and pen so often fly Describing all that falls upon that poets eye Oh why, do my words wrestled all in vain Yet found limping with leaden feet remain On crutches rooted hard fast to the earth Uselessly floundering for all their worth Do I not see the truth he sees and seeks Or speak the language that he speaks I only know that my words all fall flat That his are good and that my friend is that |

I'm not sure how's it done, but I suspect you will say so... ![]() HUGS ------------------ You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give. |

Thank you hoot, PDV and Rainbow. ------------------ Yes, I admit your general rule. That every poet is a fool: But I myself may serve to show it. That every fool is not a poet. |

writer51, The words are good, the rhyme is good, the poem is good. Enjoyed the read. |
