In a voyage of Love My senses have embarked My eyes cannot see you My hands cannot touch you Nor can my skin feel your warmth My sense of smell cannot reach you And my ears cannot find your voice But wait! Hasten the shadow That obscure the Sun. If my eyes can gaze upon the sea There you shall be If the Sun can luxuriously Tantalize my skin It's the silky touch of your hands I feel And when the wind, reeking exotic fragances fills my being with its rich aromas It brings to memory The familiar scent of you And I find myself loving the essence Of your image imbedded in my mind As if you were sitting by my side The sweet breeze That softly grases my lips Is like that kiss that never was But in my dreams... And in those dreams, you loved me As if tomorrow's existance were in doubt. No promise was spoken No goodbye's were said And in the mists that shrouds the Sea Drifting images of things that cannot be. gbp. |

Lovely, juanita! I love the lines "But in my dreams...And in those dreams, you loved me As if tomorrow's existance were in doubt." ------------------ The only man worth your tears will never make you cry... |
