Like a bird in a cage, I flap my wings, and try to be free. But then I realize I can't if you're around me. Can't you see all I want is to be free? I feel like I'm locked in chains, and I feel so much pain. It seems everytime it rains, it poors. My inside feels as if it has rotten to the core. When I write I feel so free, free as the breeze, that blows through the trees. I look at my past, and I see I've come so far, but it seems I'm still fightin' this war. I see the birds fly so high above me. And I wish that's where I could be. When I die spread my ashes on the wings of seagull, and then my dreams will be fullfilled. ------------------ To live is to love, and to love is to live... the meaning of life. |

I have been in that cage before....I'm happy to say I took flight ------------------ "In the depths of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer" ~Albert Camus |

Next time he cracks the door, do no more... take your flight, into the mystery of the night. You did a good job on this, I can feel the grief. ------------------ Julie ------------------------- ..."to thine own self be true." >William Shakespeare |
