Love
speaks to me
of wildflower fields
and grass filled meadows
of dancing
in the warm spring rains
washing away
my grief
like the tears
shed from angels

Love
speaks
of hurried kisses
and fumbling fingers
shaking
as they undress
my lover

Love
whispers caresses
into straining ears
telling
of being held
in a warm embrace
as I cry
to my lover's
breast

Love
in ecstacy
cries out
my name
to these ears
which only
hear
one voice

For someone who's not fond of free verse... not too bad!

Dream, I couldn't resist... I had to reply to this one now... Free verse is my favorite... and you have written something for me that is so beautiful... I have only a few hours before I have to leave... I'll miss you so much. Thank you for your faith in me and your passion for the written word. I'm taking this one with me to read whenever I feel that I may need it. God Bless all of you at Passions, and Dream, Take care of yourself. All my love, Erin.

Damn buddy, it must be love! A total turn around in your thinking and writing. That can't be a bad thing. Erin, I wish you the best of luck on your journey, and hope you return soon!!!
