When my tears turn to wine, and I can fly like superman. When I am as strong as samson. or I become the devils fan. When I can turn back the time, and laugh in the face of fear. That's when I'll stop loving you, when the rain turns into beer. When frogs sprout wings, and birds can't fly and a grizzly bear becomes my pet. When grass won't grow, and bugs don't bite. and in a poker game you don't bet. When the day comes and you say to me, "You know I love you too"! That's when I'll stop caring, I'll know your words aren't true. But until, thoes times come, let me make just one thing clear. Someday my love will die, that's when I'll die too, my dear. |

Welcome to Passions Kitty. An interesting study in meter and rhyme. Did you really pick these out or just throw them together because they fit? The thought process rambles all over the place, but then maybe that is the way you intended it to be. I am left confused by the 4th verse. I would have thought the opposit but 'hey' it's your poem. Keep writing, it is good to have you here. INclan |

Hi INclan..Thanks for the welcome. This play on words is simply a late night feeling and 'I feel sorry for me mood'! The fourth verse does not belong there..but was the root of these ramblings, re: woe is me, I am unloved... The thought process (in my case) can be very confusing. ;-) I have never laid claim to 'sanity'! |
