Ron, I replied to a few poems just a few minutes ago. I didn't notice the others, but this one /pip/Forum25/HTML/002246.html I replied to, and it shows 3 replies on the outside, but when I click on it, and view the replies, it only shows 2, and I'm not one of them. I've refreshed it a few times, and that's not working either... I even went back to the Main Forum, and back through Spiritual again to no avail. Is it a prob on my end? I went back and checked, and actually all the ones I replied to show on the outside an added reply, but the inside don't show I replied at all. LOL Marge. Thanks, I guess I'll have to "delete" my files and things. Thanks for letting me know they're there. I can't see em. Hunting down that critter, and when I find em' I'm gonna squash em.  |

hmm, go figure, I could see this one. What is going on???? That's weird. I checked here and I can see all these replies. I just went to the link I posted up there, and the replies still don't show to me. Wuz up with that? Any clue? It seems I can see the replies, even my own, in the other forums, but not in Spiritual. All right, I've had it!!  I came in the forums, could see replies from yesterday, not today. I went into this thread: /pip/Forum25/HTML/002246.html and the page cannot be displayed. I refreshed, went back, tried numerous times, nope. About the 4-5th try, I got in, replied, clicked submit, and boom, page cannot be displayed. I did get to view it once, and again the reply I made didn't show on the inside of the thread. But I just can't get in there period. The question marks to the right aren't showing up for me. I did however go and delete ALL my cookies, and they still don't show up. I can see my replies now, but I still cannot access the above the thread. HELP!! AGgggggg......how aggrivating. |

Your problem has nothing to do with cookies, Rebecca, but rather is a caching problem. At some point in the chain, you are not talking to Athena, but rather are talking to a cache of old pages. Could be your browser, if you've changed something recently. More likely, it our old friends, AOL. If you go into the Troubleshooting Guide in the Member's Area, you'll see a link for "I can't see the post I just made!" that explain what you can do - little though it might be. |

Ron, I had checked that out....and went into the windows you mentioned, and the cookies things were checked "enable." I tried loading the AT&T thing, but couldn't get their program to work on here. However it took over my IE. Instead of just Internet Explorer showing in the blue bar, it now says that + provided by At&t world net. I guess I'll have to update the IE?? download something again? I don't know how to get it back to normal? Any suggestions? |

Ron, I went into control panel..highlighted IE 5.5 and I have 3 choices.... 1. add component 2. repair 3. restore the previous Windows config. I know I don't want 1, I can try 2....but what is #3?? What will that do, have any idea?? |

Ok, I went in and did a repair....and all seems to be fine now....the icons and all are showing...replies too. Phew |
