where insanity meets breeding

I found two poems at the bottom of yesterdays topics that had strange dates. Because the dates were wrong, these poems dropped to the bottom, instead of coming out at the top. I replied to one, which was MidnightSun's Blarney Stone, which bumped it back to the top. I left the other though, so you could check it out and see what happened. This is it

Title   Author      Posts   Time

Love  Silver Streak  0  00-Si-20-1 12:er AM

It seems the date and time got screwed up, and that's why it dropped to the bottom. Just thought I'd let you know Ron

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

The same thing happened the other day with a post by RS Wells. It was buried at the bottom of Todays Topics page with the same cryptic time code even though it had only been posted an hour or so before.. I went into Open 19 to see if it was in its place...and could not find the poem on the page...it only showed on todays topic page. Once I bumped it...it showed on both pages. I was wondering if it was just my comp or server till I saw this post by Tracy.

The problems aren't there now, but I'll try to keep my eye open and see if I can catch it when it happens.

Ron... dont know if it will still be there when you see this...but its happened again...
A post by Mark Coburn, "Jumping Thru The Fire" posted at 2:38pm is not showing up from my open 19's page but is at the bottom of the topics page with this time stamp--  00-Ma-20-1 12: C AM
and the one Tracy mentioned of Silver Streak's is still showing up with the strange time stamp if you click on Yesterdays topics page even though she has since hit it.
Hope this helps solve the glitch mystery.

heres the poem addy if it will help

It looks like he replied to his own post right away. Then it was deleted? The envelope shows as white(gray). ?

It took all day (off and on), but I think I finally found the problem. The existing problems won't be fixed by my changes, but I hope it won't happen again in the future.

Looking at 'Today's Topics', Dark Stranger has a poem in Adult that, though there have been no replies, it appears that HE replied (the grey envelope). The time reads:

00-Da-20-1 12: S AM

This is in 'Today's Topics' only. When you open the poem, the time is fine.

Same thing with Masked Intruder's poem in Poetic Haven:

00-Ma-20-1 12:ed AM

Dang it.

Well, at least this time I know where the problem is happening. I just have to find a better fix for it ...

If anyone notices a thread with a bad time stamp like that, please report it here and then bump it with a reply. Your reply to it will get it back on the forum listing page where others can at least see it.

Thanks...

I hate bugs that are impossible to test!

I've made some additional changes, so if you see any more scrambled dates, please let me know ...
