where my heart is

this is a short story i'm writing for Lit class,
im not sure if this is the forum for short stories...but ya, i guess i'm going to post it
here anyway...? well, for lit class this is kinda intense...so n-e-ways... :

“Please! Don’t hurt her! Take anything you
want, take my money, take my clothes, take me!” a
sweet faced, brown hair, and green eyed boy of 15
screamed pushing a sweet girl behind him to keep
her safe.
Jason was on his way to walking home his
girlfriend, Alison tonight. Out of no where two men with
knives walked out from a shaded sidewalk. They
looked like rats that crawled out of a sewer, with
eyes to match.
Heavy breathing, fear screaming eyes, and a
ready hand. Jason would do anything to keep his girl safe.
The men grabbed him and yelled at Allison to
leave. She didn’t move.
“Go! It’s okay! It’s okay! I’ll be fine, run
away!” Jason yelled as the grip of the men on his
arms grew tighter. The scared girl paused. “Go!
Now! You have to go!” he yelled again.
She cautiously ran into the shadow covered
path, but crouched down at sights distance.

Pushed to the ground behind a brick wall, the
brave teenager was kicked again and a again. His
shirt was ripped apart. Blow after blow he began
to bleed. Coughing crimson onto the dirt below
him, he couldn’t take anymore, though he was shown
no mercy. He was lifted up by his arms, but all
his hope was shattered when a clean cut pierced
through his stomach. He tightened his
fists and his neck fell back, screaming. Dirty hands let go and Jason fell
to the ground. Arching his back in choking agony,
he looked up at sparkling skies, a
tear fell, and his eyes closed. A final breath
flowed through his lungs.
Allison was crying behind a bush, but was trying
not to be heard. It was so hard not to scream.

Instantly, a blinding light in the figure of
a man shone in front of these men, and pushed
them to the ground without even touching them. He
lifted Jason and healed his deep wounds. But as
quickly as this light had appeared, it turned
around with the boy in its arms and vanished. The
evil led creatures that had killed Jason fled faster than could be seen.

Now with only memories of Jason’s caring and
loving nature burned in her mind, Allison took
steps each day past the last moment with her hero.
The knowledge of a greater being that had sent an
angel to take Him home was given to her so that
she may someday see him again.
