I'm open to critique...actually I really enjoyed this excercise ************************************************** “Is that you Sue? I haven’t seen you forever – your hair looks great!” “Um, I don’t think I know you.” “Summerlea, its been at least ten years. We worked together.” “Matt! You drove the truck when we” “Cleaned outhouses!” “My gosh horrible wasn’t it? How are you? …You’ve filled out a bit since then.” “A bit?! I’ve had my share of McDonalds. Hey, can I buy you a drink – we can catch up. Not that anything’s changed too much in the old farm town.” “Yeah, I’m pretty much done my shopping. Where do you want to go?” “The pub around the corner’s great. I go there a lot with friends. It’s an English style with all the brick and wood on the inside.” “Sure, let me just put my bags in my truck. So…what do you do now? You left for university didn’t you? Are you married? Do you have kids now?” “Slow down girl, not married, hence the McDonald’s, hence the gut. No kids, but a great job. I work for the government – in agriculture. How about you?” “Good job; I moved here two years ago for it. I get to travel so that’s fun. Don’t get to ride much anymore though.” “You still like driving a truck hey?” “I got to keep some of the country around me.” “I know what you mean. Hey, are you busy tonight? We could go two stepping.” |

And a touche' to you, copperbell! The pace was quick, but appropriately so, because that's how it is when you run into an old friend. Very nice work here, I felt as though I were eavesdropping. |

You did a good job with this. I could tell who was talking and could understand a bit about each of them. Glad you joined the challenge! |
