Cool Universe by mirror man Chapter 14 ½ Meanwhile, up in space: “A rat?” said Kulaat to Grope. They were watching it all unfold on their space tube. Grope shrugged, meaning I guess so. “What do you mean, you guess so?” said Kulaat. Grope blinked twice, meaning It looks like a rat to me. “Well, is it a rat or isn’t it?” said Kulaat. Grope blinked three times, meaning Yes, it’s a rat. But it’s from Californaheim. “Are Californaheimian rats different than other rats?” said Kulaat. Grope blinked four times, meaning Apparently. “How different?” said Kulaat impatiently. Grope blinked five times, meaning It is apparently, as Abnorman says, made from a club sandwich. Kulaat scratched his head. “How’d he do that?” Grope blinked six times, meaning Heck if I know. Grope scratched his head also -- squeak, squeak, because it was metal. “Is it a threat to AAbnorman?” said Kulaat. Grope shook his head no and blinked, meaning It has been scanned for evil and shows only niceness. Kulaat watched Abnorman carrying the box through the house and said skeptically, “A nice rat?” Grope shrugged, meaning I guess so. They both watched it some more and finally Kulaat said, “Okay. But keep an eye on it.” Grope blinked seven times, meaning Sheez.
