  I sat in the backseat of the car studying him.  Our friends chattered endlessly but I heard nothing.  All I could do was stare at that little mark on the back of his neck.
     I wanted to kiss it.  Of course, doing so was taboo because he was my friend.  My best friend that I was in love with.
     His voice slid over me like silk and it soothed me.  I was broken out of my daze by him calling of my name.

     "Hmm?"    I asked looking into his eyes trying not to become lost in them.

     "What do you want to do?"

     I shrugged.  "I dunno.  A movie sounds good."  He nodded and the discussion continued on. My  attention strayed once more to that little mark on his neck.  All I had to do was lean forward and....

     His head turned and our eyes locked.  "What are you doing?"  He asked his lips curving into  smile.

     Shock filled my eyes.  I had almost done it.  I almost kissed his neck!  I had to play it off.  I smiled at him devilishly.  I decided to tell the truth and let him believe it a lie.

     "Actually,  I was going to kiss that little mark you have on the back of your neck."

     I could see the complete dismissal is his eyes.  His best friend would never do anything like that!  No!  Not me!

     "Whatever babe."  He turned around and I leaned back.    My eyes once more gazed upon that little mark.

I agree with Midnitesun...he might like it. I know from experience that it's very good to fall in love with your best friend. My Honey and I were best friends before we fell in love and still are.
