She sits so quietly, silent thoughts filling the air with the soft scent of love everlasting, still lingering there in spite of knowing it somehow died under a midnight moon that was so much colder than anyone had ever felt in June. Restless thoughts and memories surround her temples, tempting her to love again, although she knows there will never again be a love such as this.
For how could anyone be this lucky more than once?
He was the sun, moon, and stars all rolled into one. A lover whose heart made two melt into one.  And oh, how easily he did bring forth the fullness of bloom to her cheeks, the glow of love in her eyes, the heat and the passion, blush could not disguise. Then he walked away one night, nevermore to return. Her face turned ashen when she received the news of his untimely death (is it ever timely?).
It shattered her soul into fragments and pieces too small for anyone to believe the whole of the heart could ever mend. And yet, she sits here quietly under the fullness of another June moon, dreaming of Love.

pleeeeeeezzzze

You're the best I've ever felt ...
it's so wrong not to be with you.
It's getting harder to stay away,
it stops my heart just to be with you.

Thank you, JM, for the enthusiastic reply. You offer me much encouragement!
This is a story I've been working on in my mind for a few days, and have yet to figure out where it shall go. But it's pretty obvious another love affair is on the horizon.
Well, I have to start work soon, but will be working on this again in the next few days.
glad you are back

Hi Midnitesun, I'll have to admit I'm not much of a reader (of non-fiction), strange huh? But I wanted to return your kindness and check out your work posted here.

And hey, it was very good. I'm going to go read part two now...

You take care, and I'll check with you soon...
