"What are you going to do with your life?" he asked me while he sat on my bed and I lay on my back wiping the tears from my eyes. "I don't know anymore," I choked out, trying to ward off the fresh torrent of tears that threatened to spill over. How could I explain to one of my best freinds how I had no idea what I wanted to do? I had come to UCC all prepared to do awesome. Then I discovered the party scene and now I'm at the end of first year, and I'm going to drop my classes and take summer courses. Do I still plan on taking journalism like I had originally wanted to do? I have no idea. Right now I just want to be happy. I want to be loved. No idea what I want to do with my life, but maybe after it calms down a bit my motivation will come back. First though, I have to get my parents to fill out my student loan application. |

Rhonda, Focus...it gets better. Honest! I took Freshman English six times.  If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
