KNOWLEDGE- Part 1
KEIKO
     No-one can know.... no-one can know what I

have to face. The fight is my own. Other martyrs

must not be found, or they will be destroyed for

their knowledge...

GUSTAVE
     The sound of a voice throws me from my dream.

the name of Keiko goes through my head, and I hope

that whoever disturbed my dream had a good reason.

A voice once again calls my name.

     "Gustave! Come on, you're going to be late for

class!"

     "Corbin, why do you always have to disturb my

dreams?"

     "It's not like they're really gonna happen.

Come on. Maybe Saffire can get you to shut up about

it."

     A cold feeling settles in the pit of my

stomach, and I know, something is going to happen.

SAFFIRE
     At the sight of Corbin and a seemingly annoyed

Gustave, the feeling in my stomach dissolves. I

point to the seat next to me, and Corbin jumps at

the opportunity. Gustave, however, pushes him to

the side, surprising more than one person. The boy

sits, turning slowly to look at me.

     "Saffire, do you ever believe me when I tell

you about my dreams?"

     "Yes, Gustave. Sometimes it seems a little

stretched, but yes, I do."

     "Then come with me."

     "Where?"

     "I don't know...Just...Come with me. Get

Corbin."

     Confused, I head to the teacher's desk, making

up a story of great peril, with more than one life

in danger, but also being as vague as possible.

With a short nod, we are told we can leave.

     "Thank you, Saffire." Gustave whispers

lightly, just before steeping in front and leading

them off campus.

I learned how to write from a friend of mine. Sometimes I think the student has surpassed the teacher. :)

Now I have heard the first part, I am glad - it makes sense and I like the dialogue.
