I am absolutely desperate for food poems within the next few hours. Poems about food in general or specifically about soup, bread, rice, eggplant, vegetables, truffles, etc. I'm sorry for the short notice but I would sincerely appreciate it! Thank you so much! ~Amelia~ |

can they be humorous ones? Can they be about people eating it? or does it need to be on the view of it? Can it be to the tune of a song? any specifics? Always, Alyssa - And so it was that time stood still - (blink, breathe, stand, fight) [This message has been edited by GG (01-19-2003 03:45 PM).] |

Any of these really, although I'd rather not have humor. Do you have anything that might help me? ~Amelia~ |

ok here's three, but they are extremely short I found them from http://ybarri.homestead.com/Poems22.html The jam dripped Out of my doughnuts Like the blood Out of my life. +++ The pop-tart Jumped up into the air Like your hand Used to tourch mine. +++ Like the Three-Headed Sarahs', I'm writing poems about food. Am I becoming greedy Or am I just getting the munchies At critical times? - And so it was that time stood still - |

ok here I just wrote this one in a few seconds. So its not real good, and I don't thrive on poems about food lol ..I only slept a half hour anyway. What do you need this for? Look upon the weaving of the oat All formed together, in my toast. Confuses me, it looks so right Just sitting there within my sight It holds together, quite like me Though mold ruins its quality. Pour some water, it’ll sog I’ll throw the toast out to my dog. And soon I’ll eat this oddity Food of familiarity. Its tanish substance much like mine Has filled me up and tastes divine!
