there we go - you CAN include images in your signature, you just have to use the UBB code instead of HTML - find out how Here Chris [This message has been edited by Christopher (05-20-2002 08:35 PM).] |

Is there a reason it should be allowed? Keeping in mind that Chris's image adds an extra 5,000 bytes to this page, which is probably fairly typical, is there any image we need to see over and over and over and over again with every post a person makes? |

i don't know whether it should be allowed or not... i assumed that you might have had a reason for blocking the HTML, but not UBB, Ron. As for my image... it was just a random one pulled off my site to check this question... though it shows you do have a good point - perhaps a size limit? |

It kind of doesn't matter as the place where I am hosting the image is so unreliable that is totally useless, but if the option is there surely although you aren't encouraging it you are saying to people that they are allowed to do it. It's kind of confusing as on one hand the option is there and on the other you seem to imply that you don't like it. |

My guess would be that Ron had intended to not allow it, and had simply overlooked the UBB possibility, or thought that no one would try to use it. I doubt the ambiguity was intentional. |
