I am looking for a poem that will espress what I feel for my lover, he is a very gentle, caring and understanding man from whom I have learned what true love really is, I am a married women and he is a married man, but what we have is truly special we day dream of the day when we can be together for ever but sometimes fear overcomes me and makes me wonder if that time will ever come if our commitment and our responsibilities to others will keep us apart in spite of the love we have for each other, when we are together we don't seem to be able to get enough of each other it is not just passion it is alot more than that, I hope that there is someone out there that knows of a poem or that can write me one to express what I feel for this man. please e-mail me at [email protected] |

Love's Stratagem's by Donald Justice But these maneuverings to avoid the touching of hands, these shifts to keep the eyes employed on objects more or less neutral (as honor, for the time being, commands) will hardly prevent their downfall. Stronger medicines are needed. Already they find none of their stratagems have succeeded nor would have, no not had their eyes been stricken blind hands cut off at elbow. |

Forbidden Pastures ~*Marge Tindal*~ I've never been so love starved as to graze in another woman's pasture~ The grass on the other side of the fence only looks more lucious because the shepherdess has tended it with great care It wilts when taken from her gentle keep Beware the watchful eye of the shepherdess~ She knows well her pastured land Tend you now your own pasture for there may be foxes in the meadow ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Hmmm.... I think the idea was for a positive poem about the way these two feel for each other, not a contemplation on adultry. |

There will always be moralists about Siofra...it's life I guess...I don't have any poems myself to offer...I just want to say that I don't think it's our position to judge here. Cheers everyone. K |

Just for the record...my offering is one of my favorite poems because I could relate. I do so hope it was not misconstrued as a judgement. PEACE |
