Can anyone help me? My username and password are correct, yet for months I haven't been able to post a poem. I've even re-registered a couple of times and although I can comment on some of the fine work here, I'm never able to post any of my own work. I'd really appreciate the help. Thank you, Auguste |

Auguste, we need more information to help. Why can't you post? What error message does the system give? When you say you can comment, what forum have you done so? If you can post a reply in a poetry forum, you "should" be able to post an originating thread... |

I know why exactly... See I logged on yesterday for the first time, and I didnt realize that my name sweetpoet17... I registered as SweetPoet17... now whats the difference? CAPITOLIZATION!!! Make sure the password and user name are exact to how you registered and if you arent capitolizing letters thats your problem. |

Just as a followup, Auguste emailed me his symptoms and the solution was fairly simple. He was still trying to post in Open Poetry #8, even though we had moved on to #9. That's why he could comment, but not start a new thread. I don't really know, but I suspect part of his problem was bookmarking #8 and going directly there without first seeing the main page. Ergo, he never saw the new OP #9. Do NOT Bookmark ForumsThere are only three pages you can safely use to enter the forums. The main page, where all the forums are listed, your Personal Library page, and the Logon page. Those three will recognize a new visit from you and set your cookies accordingly. Other pages, including the individual forums, won't. |
