When I'm in a forum and there is an icon next to the thread that looks like an open book, what does it mean? is somebody reading it at that point in time?  I'm just asking cause I didn't see it in the legend at the bottom and couldn't find anything in a search.  Thanks in advance.

Well, Mr. Beowulf that little book icon doesn't mean the post is being read at the moment it means that the piece is being submitted to Passion's Real paper and ink book project, Voices on the Web. These pieces of poetry and prose marked with a book icon are what the author considers his best and they are trying to gain votes to make it into the book so they are published.

To vote or submit there is a little checkbox underneath your name when you submit, just check it! But submissions will be ending soon, but you can still vote for quite a while yet and help get that favorite poem into the book!

Hope I helped ya out
