In the space between moments

I have noticed that lately quite a few of these "Pantoum" style poems have been showing up. I find myself enjoying this style emmensly and I was wondering if anyone here could break it down for me so I could attempt one of my own. Any help, either posted here or sent to me by E-mail would be much appreciated. Thank you very much!!!

Alwye...
I'm really pleased that you and others are showing some interest in structured poetry. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at any time.....

A Pantoum

...is a poem consisting of six stanzas
Each stanza is a quatrain which contains repetitions in lines from the previous stanza. Repetitons are as follows:
a1-b1-a2-b2
b1-c1-b2-c2
c1-d1-c2-d2
d1-e1-d2-e2
e1-f1-e2-f2
f1-a2-f2-a1

Use a specific meter (your choice) and you will have a pantoum.
There are discrepencies as to whether the repeated lines can contain very slight variations in content - but they must repeat with the same basic message and the same final word.

I've successfully (I think) completed my first Pantoum, called "Love's Garden". Thank you for the directions once again, Nan!

So, let's see if airhead701 (me) has got this straight:

Pantoums have 6 stanzas, your choice of meter, and repetition? I'm a little confused, so correct me if I am wrong. Does it have to be done like Alwye did it, with the next stanza starting with the last line of the previous one?

Elizabeth
The meter may be one of your own choosing, but the repetition has to be as I have stated above. Remember, there are two schools of thought on the repetition - some say it should be verbatim - others say there can be some very slight variation in words for progression of the theme...... Let's see more, folks....
