I may be wrong but I think that your poem may be part of one of shakesspeares plays: Hamlet, or Romeo & Juliet but I will need to check up on it. Sorry I can't be of more help.

The shakespearian quote your are think of is " A rose by by any other name would still smell as sweet." It may not be an exact quote but close.

I would like to know if you would like us to write you a poem with this pharse completed in it? What exactly is it you are looking for?
