During some research for Nan's sestina workshop I came across a reference to a particularly interesting creature called the double sestina. I am interested in knowing the end word format for this thing. All I know about it is that a poet named "Swinburne" wrote one called "The Complaint of Lisa". If anyone can help me with this I would be most appreciative. I haven't had any luck in locating it myself. Thanks. Jim "If I rest, I rust." - Martin Luther |

Jim - I have no idea, but your post looked really lonely...so I thought I'd nudge it up to the top for fun... K ...I am not a painter, I am a poet... F. O'Hara |

For anyone interested, I posted some information on the double sestina in the Poetry Workshop. It's a beast but anyone who likes a challenge will like it. P.S. Thanks, Nan, for the help on the pic. Hope seeing me is "better" rather than "worse". < !signature--> Jim "If I rest, I rust." - Martin Luther [This message has been edited by jbouder (edited 12-30-1999).] |
