Rebel - Same answer, different day. harpo - Elucidate is one of my favorite words. Don't ask me why. Love, Lucy Nan- "Perhaps" does not answer the question "Why?" Why? Because "Perhaps" would be an appropriate answer to a yes-or-no question and "Why?" is not a yes-or-no question, yes? Kacy- I donno. It's more comfortable there, perhaps? Sunshine - I told you I knew that answer already. Susan - Now we're getting somewhere!!!! |

Christopher - There is? Well, of course there is! And I just rented it and watched it again after all these years. Charming movie with a great soundtrack by Harry Nillson! Remember it? Sure ya do! I do! And I remember you, too! How ARE ya anyway?MARTIE!!! - It's sooo great to *see* you here! I've been so concerned about you and was so happy to read all went well and you are doing better! Why? Because you are a very special lady and because I admire you and because I care, that's why! That's a fine answer you gave and I believe you are right. Thank God for that child and the child in all of us! We are all learning every day when we ask why. I ask it often and I'm glad I do because I always get new answers every time I ask and learn something valuable. Next thread? I'm going to ask another question. Hmm... When? How? Who? or Where? Or something else. I haven't decided yet. I'm not sure which question is more important but it's not really important to know. The fact that people care enough to think about answers to any and all questions is the most important thing and I'm glad you did, however ridiculous this thread is. Why? Because I'm so happy to see you! |

And therein you find several answers. What started as possibly serious, middled cute and inconsequential, brought, still, joy and possibly unequaled delight... but since you asked "why"... and Martie answered in a simple and concise response, you went away... pleased. Perhaps that was "why".  |

Pleased to have received answers and especially pleased to be answered by a lady who must have asked that question herself recently and who is wise enough to know one very important answer.
