Ok friends. I have a real delimma. I wrote a real nice poem, but it accidently got deleted, I guess. I wrote it in microsoft works. It isn't in my recycle bin. I looked. I have heard that Windows XP is wonderful. Is it wonderful enough that it may have put my poem somewhere else? Help! I am so upset. |

All I can think of, Sue, is to go click Start, click Documents, then click My Documents. From there, you can click on SEARCH. Whatever key word or two you may recall from your poem, type it in the prompt, and just perhaps your poem is laying around in a temp file. That's one way of looking. You may also want to go all the way back to the C drive to check all programs. Good luck. I'm partial to working in Word, and saving the document like a mad woman, just for this very purpose. ![]() |

Thank you, Karilea. I will give that a try. Nothing else has worked. I sure hope I can find it. |

LOL... I take it as a sign, too, serene one, that I wasn't supposed to keep JUST THOSE WORDS because heaven help me, I know that if I had saved it, chances are, it would have been posted. Sheesh... Serenity is correct, Sue... just write it again... it will come back to you, I promise! |
