Quiet is my heart tonight
Your presence
which washed its warm waves
of bliss over me
is fading.

This dark shadow
covers me,
suffocating my desire
like gasping
in drowning waters.

When I reach for you
All I feel is air
and that air is all I have
to sustain me.

Jacqueline,
I know we all have time constraints but is there anyway you can comment on some of the other poems here?  Remember, try to comment on two other poems for every one you post.
I'll try to get back to this poem later.
