Sometimes I wish the world was mine. Then I’d be happy, or would I still cry? Why should I? All people hurt one another. But if I had no one, I’d be a lone. But if I didn’t know better, Would it really mater? Can I answer myself? Can you answer me? If we could, would it be a lie? No one really knows whose right. So that’s what I think. When we’re wrong, are we really wrong? Crazy at it may seem, this is all true. So I say. Though I really don’t know. No one does, or does someone out there really do know. Who knows, who cares ------------------ Nighspear{~*~} |

I'm just not big on question poems like this. I always think: I don't know. Why are you asking me? I like the first line though. It seems to me if you develop that image -- if the world were yours -- and try to give us pictures, not simply declarations, of what that might entail, you might have a very strong poem. Just an opinion, Brad [This message has been edited by Brad (edited 11-03-1999).] |
