THE END OF AN ERA Two actors on the stage Sharing the spotlight. From comedy to musical to drama The sets change But the characters remain the same. No longer a duet-- A forlorn figure stands alone. The soliloquy has begun… ------------------ It matters not how strait the gate; How charged with punishments the scroll; I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. --W.E. I liked the wording of the poem, but I dont think i quite understand it....my best guess is two actors, and then one gets famous, gets all of the spotlight, and from then on demands the entire spot light....am i right? ------------------ "Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage." -Billy Corgan- |

well, I liked it, seemed to me the ending of a couple and all the happiness and sadness that a relationship has, and the beginning of being alone.... |

Thanks for the comments. It is actually about me and my best friend, the changes we went through during our friendship, and the ending of it. ------------------ It matters not how strait the gate; How charged with punishments the scroll; I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. --W.E.
