It was just last week as I recall, You said the words I dread I fear. You promissed once you'd never leave. Just last week I remember, Comes so clear to me. How can it be for me I plea? How do you such a thing to me? Now I stand with the knife. Now the blood is insight. Now I feel it comes so quick. The love, the pain, and now the death. The things I shall remember... The walks, the talks, the times we kissed. It was forbidden to love you so. No, it's selfish for me to say, But it was wrong for you to go. You were my love, My one true love. Our lives planned out so nice, so perfect, so neat. Now I upon the floor. So cold, so empty, so not as I was before. |

Hi Kelli, Welcome to CA. I see you got this one posted twice and since the first copy has no responses, I imagine a moderator will delete it. So I am answering this one instead. Well, like I said, welcome to CA. Be sure to add some comments to other's poems when you have a chance. And I hope to see more from you also. Thanks, Pete |
