Jackson.  I wish the argument could end on this note.  Sadly it does not.  There are still groups of humans who do not consider every human a human and even amongst those who do, there are still notions of inferior and superior.  No.  This argument does not end in agreement.  I like the contrasts though.

James very nicly done and contrasted. I think what your saying is exactly what YeshuJah thinks your not saying. Human
Human implies all the above the love/hate
inferior/superior all human qualities and
failing. None without sin. Why don't you write something about dancing monkeys. This
deep stuff hurts my head.

You are so right Bro.

Flying Monkey!!!
Toto Head!!!!

There you are.

One looks at the evil of people.
One looks at the good of people.

Both can agree there are good and evil in all.

Except you and I of course. I got the serious gene and you got the spelling gene.

I didn't get much from the word comparisons, but you ended up with the same amount of exclamation marks at the end and I guess that is a good thing?

Um, I don't know exactly what to say.  I don't think with this type of poem you necessarily can say something about it as such.  Presumably your saying all humans are a juxtaposition of evil/good.  Or that some humans are good, others are evil? I like the paradoxical contrasts and the ??.  I like the format.

THanks Tim I was trying to convey just that.
Maybe I could use the title
"The Id Superego Argument"
But that would give it away.

The use of !!!! and ?? was a way of adding animation to the poem at least an attempt.

Since I don't know squat about poetry I will come up with anything.

I really enjoyed this.  I thought it worked well and the ending took me off guard.

Very well done.

Finally, I read a bunch of semi-negative comments and I get to be the positive one.

Yeahhhhhhh!!!!

Gee Brad I am speachless. I liked this writting because it reminded me of Steven Crane. Forrest introduced me to Riders of the Purple Sage years ago and renewed my interest in poetry.

I am glad you enjoyed.

Eldridge? Did you go to the therapist again and he had you to that reverse word thingy again? Next thing we know Eldridge will be putting blobs of ink on here and trying to pass it off as a poem.

Actually, it's because we are all human that we simply can't seem to agree on anything. You can sure bet there are those that wouldn't even agree that we're all human. Well, now that I think about it--there's a few people that I sometimes wonder if they're human. Hmmmm.....that's a thought to ponder.

Love ya,

The answer to your question is all of the above.

I glad you found my poem amusing and therapeutic.
