Now I peice through the remains of my heart
and find joy
but it echoes with worries in my mind
and hollows out the pit of my stomach
I know that it is true
even if I dont know the face I so cherish
except as a shadowed reminder
imprinted in my eyes from a dream
kissed on my lips
the tears I laugh linger there
and I feel my heart free
dancing as broken mirror shards
on the tips of my fingers
seduced with the honeyed smoke
of the incense ashed on my desk
transported to another world
another smoke
frightening the shadows that still taint my soul into submission
