No one knows him
  as I know him.
No one else understands him
  as I do.
That's why this is
  very important to me.
No one else loves him
  as I love him.
No one else cares
  as I do.
That's why I'll do this for him.
I will greet you.
  I will shake your hand.
    I will say hello.
      I will acknowledge your presence.
        I will welcome you.
   Then...
        I will thrash you.
You see...
I have the ability to make him believe
things that aren't true.
This 'friendship' will be far from true.
We will say 'hi' when he's there.
  But if he isn't...
our eyes will NOT meet.
Our voices will NOT acknowledge each others presence.
           We will be strangers.
I will have never seen you before.
  But when he shows up...
everything will miraculously change... ...

You don't know me, but you don't like me.
You say you could care less how I feel.
But how many of you who sit and judge me
have ever walked the streets in my shoes?-Korn

I'm a little lost on this one. My guess is that the 'I' in this poem is just not a very nice person but I don't have the faintest idea why this situation exists. Maybe if you could clear up the relationships a little more, show us what type of person this is through some description, it might help.

Personally, I like the first person as a bad guy (I do it myself all the time) but I think  you need to clear up the reasoning here a bit more. Yeah, I could guess, I suppose, but  why do I want to?

Just an opinion,
Brad

The relationships... The I is me... the bad girl. The you is my fiancee's ex-girlfriend who still wants him, and was trying everything in her power to break us up. My fiancee hated that we (me and laura) didn't get along and he wanted us to be friends. Well, I wrote this before I ever talked to her, I always judged her and never gave her a chance, but I was going to give this to her. I actually worked things out with her and we're really good friends, now and the real irony is that my fiancee doesn't want us to be so close. Go figure. I guess that's the odd reasoning of a man... but there ya go. Thanks for the opinion!!
