This is not the last goodbye--
We'll meet again someday.
This is not the last farewell--
The wide world is not so wide
As to separate us forever.
Our paths shall cross again,
Though here they diverge,
And we shall laugh about our times.
This is not the last goodbye,
But the first, which is the hardest.
Yet "goodbye" is such a final word,
One that truncates too abruptly.
So rather, I say, "Until next we meet,
My heart goes with you."
