Time and tide await no man- At least I’ve heard that said- You’re born, and take a breath or two, And then, my friend, you’re dead. I will never understand why men- So wish, youth to retain, Better far to age a bit- And exercise your brain. Think a bit, read a book- Write some lines of verse, Enjoy time as best you may- For things could be far worse. Fall in love, if that’s your bent- Climb every lofty peak- Search the nooks and crannies- For the treasure which you seek. I trust that you are listening- Please let my words abide- For we are those awaiting- The whims of time and tide. |

Bu bu but...Brain exercising is hard! Most humans to do things like that while they sleep. Good poem my friend. Will try not be part of the flotsam swept away with the tide. |
