I heard they asked you "What's it worth?" It was sometime after you left me waiting...drinking coffee with not enough sugar I waited until the lunch rush I knew you were busy and I didn't want to know with what and I didn't want to meet your friend either and I heard someone say as I left... "Why did someone leave the ketchup on the table?" and then I remembered you don't like ketchup...... |

this a nice way of poetically relating discontent about an event that was supposed to happen but failed to occur...I like the symbolism with the condiment here...the poem could also have a back story of what lead to the failed meeting. |

This reminds me of the writing style of an English poetess with a poetry blog site titled "Little Monsters Cannot Be Queen.". It reminds me in the best way because she is my favorite poet. She writes little stories with great emotional impact that in the end just leaves me silent from the intelligence of it. |
