Sorry if I offended anyone with this one. I have a bit of a chip on my shoulder as of late. Has anyone else ever felt like an elephant being held down by a donkey! Comments linger On the threshold What were you trying To get through to me? Mind searching Thoughts roaming My mind wrapped around The endless ludicrisy Of the obvious judgments You hold of what you think That you know about me I tried that walk That dance Straddling the barbed wire fence Between humanity and Your self righteous and delirius View of a world That you think you know so well Yes I tried the liberal Self defeating Whirlwind you call freedom Just after you turned the key On the lock of a prison door That doesn't exist you say except in the mind And you take control of that world As if you were navigating the stars themselves And it works for you there In that world Yep! I tried liberalism turns out it's not my cup of tea!!! Drink up |

Wow. Very cool piece, not least because of the passion involved. It seems to portray a bird presented with the false freedom of a gilded cage but who payed attention to their own incredulity and decided not to play along any more, which is something I personally admire because I find slaves, that is twisted slaves of the mind, to be a disturbing form of suicide, fratricide, and genocide all at once.
