My Quest Is Vain |

I’ve questioned life for decades- Perhaps there is no answer. To the turmoil which consumes my soul- Gnawing, like a cancer. A need beyond description- Words cannot justice do- For the longing deep within me Just to spend my life with you. A longing just to hear your voice- To feel your gentle touch. To walk beside you as we age I’d like that very much. I’ve been too many places- My quest has took me far… The most tragic thing of all, I don’t know who, or where you are. I will know you if I find you- And I will never look again- Alas, with the onset of age I fear my quest is vain. [This message has been edited by Gunslinger (07-31-2021 09:00 AM).] |
