What It Means to Be Alone |

I once thought that I was lonely- I found that was not true. I never knew what lonely was- Until after losing you. A day that has no sunshine- A world that’s steeped in gloom… A night bereft of stars, dear When you’re not in the room. A life that knows no laughter All hope of joy is gone. I guess I finally understand What it means to be alone. Alone with all my cares, now The time keeps dragging on- I think that I now understand- What it means to be alone. I can also relate well, being alone in the company of many who bore..or cannot be related to, have not had the pleasure of a long-term relationship that I could be lonely from its absence but I can empathize...you have touched well on one major type...take care. |

Life can be a cold slap in the face to think you are alone one day, and then to wake up some time in the future to find yourself truly alone and isolated. On that note: They say it's not talking to yourself if you don't answer. I still remember that. Took it very seriously at one point in my life. Be well, my friend. |
