Every man’s an actor- We all play many parts And operate behind facades- And rarely bare our hearts. We learn our lines, Our social mores- Manipulative tools More often far, than not, I find We merely play the fools. Most time we act on feelings By emotions often driven Impulsive? Or foolhardy? Our lives are sadly riven. Oft victims to the worldly fads- We tend to mourn, or rage- As we await the curtain call- On life’s ongoing stage. |

That works. I can hear this at a small theatre read by someone standing just in front of the curtain... just before it rises. Nice. kevinjtaylor |

Um, I forgot my line. We do spend way too much trying to be what we are expected to be rather than just being ourselves it seems. Well done, John. |
