I come here often when I am blue
When I'm overcome with missing you
The waves wash up and whisper your name
But with you gone the sounds not the same

I trace little hearts upon the sand
Yearning for the touch of your warm hand
I am so lonely with this ache inside
Can't fill this void though I have tried

In our spot I can feel you near
My whispered words I believe you hear
I sit and watch the orange suns soft glow
As it sets there is one thing I know

You were my first and my only love
Now you look down from the stars above
So I wish I may ~ I wish I might
Know the love that I wish for tonight

That there was but one love, Miss Pinky, I can fully understand. The heartaches of loss and the joy of the love that once was spent together are what I read in these lovely words:

The words you have strung together, Alana, are beautiful to the nth. How can one read these thoughts converted into words without feeling warm inside even with a ache there beside it is impossible for me to fathom..
