Now, my baby is a window washin’ woman she never leaves a streak when she’s all done Carrying her bucket and a squeegee she makes the hardest task look like fun! I watch her from a tree limb in the distance as the time she takes to wash ‘em does swiftly pass Then suddenly I fell onto the pavement Blinded by the sun-reflected glass! There’s a moral to my story if you listened that my Linny turns windows into mirrors So if you find yourself out on a tree limb… you’d be wise to tie a pillow to your rear! ...just bein' Bluesy |

Ha-ha! Hey, Miss Lori! Don't you sleep anymore? Thanks for spending some time with me in these late night/early morning hours. My baby has had lot's of jobs when she wasn't going to school. A couple I wrote about in the same style was about her making flags and driving a fork truck. So, I got a letter from her telling me how she was washing windows and I just had to write something about it. Thanks a lot for giving it a read... Now drink your warm milk and go back to bed! ...just bein' Bluesy |
